We offer a truly magnificent piece of Imperial china or porcelain made by the Kornilow Bros. also seen as Kornilov Brothers in Russia. This cup and saucer features the rather scarce \"bear in the handle\" design. I\'m sure that there is a much cooler official name for the pattern but this piece is WAY out of my area of expertise. The cup and saucer are invery goodcondition. Some of you collectors may recall that I offeredthree of these sets back some time ago from the collection of a wealthy local family that traveled extensively in Europe. Well, the same family dug a little deeper into their china closet and found another cup and saucer with the bear pattern. I\'m guessing that this will likely be the last set that they pull out of their hat.If Russian china and pottery is your thing you will want to give this set a close look.

For my wonderful customers who are counting, yes this is the4th Kornilov Bear cup and saucer that my well to do former world travelers have found in their collection. I\'ll be perfectly honest. They can\'t remember where they got these. They both come from very wealthy and well traveled families. One of their ancestors apparently blessed them with these cups and saucers many years ago...just who is lost in time. Also, I went over and over this set, and I believe it to be in excellent condition...no chips or cracks. There appears to be veryslight, normal shelf wear on the bottom of the saucer (see photo).
