It has an on/ off switch on the back and lights up. It reminds me of a lit tv screen. I love them! It is about almost 5 inches wide. It hangs on a black cord, with a clasp that opens. It was caught straight from the float. I turned it on, only to make sure it worked and to take a picture, but it was not used. The Krewe of Endymion is one of the super krewes in New Orleans. This parade is both huge and popular. It rolls on its own unique route on the Saturday before Mardi Gras.
