1899 Krewe of Proteus Mardi Gras Invitation. The ball was held at The French Opera House on February 13 1899. KOP is the second oldest Mardi Gras krewe, and still parades. For being 114 years old its in good shape. The pictures show the defects on the edges. On the back you can see where a poor framing job has a piece of tape still attached on one side.
