Charming and highly collectible vintage French green \'L\'IDEALE\' glass canning jars with original glass lid, strong wire closure. In the early 1900s canning or conserving jars in France were used to preserve fruit and vegetables for the winter. After all these years still in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. Today they are highly collectible. We use them for canisters to hold sugar, coffee beans, flour, tea bags, etc. Very functional. Each jar has company name in raised letters on one side. Marked on the bottom 1 L to indicate jar holds 1 litre. Jar measures 9 inches tall with a diameter of 4 inches. Will be carefully packed and insured for shipping. Price listed is for ONE.
