Up for sale is 41 plates/prints of Rousselot\'s expertly produced L\'Armee Francaise and 7 which are duplicates. You know these recently have sold for between $20-25, for individual plates. Here you can get 48 plates for around $16-$17. So snag these at this price. it would be hard to find this many plates in this great overall condition. The plates themselves are a wonder to hold and inspect in your own hands. I am not a painter myself but this is the best resource for painting miniatures or French toy soldiers. In my opinion Rousselot\'s meticulous research insure the most accurate representation of French Troops in the Napoleonic period.
There is a shadow or light in the pictures not a discolorization of the print. It was a sunny day when I took the pictures.
I paid hundreds of dollars to have these plates sent to the USA from Europe. This item is in the USA.
Each plate is in full color, size 32X24 cms folded opened up 32X48. A first reprint was done as of 1978, but only for the 1st Empire period plates. A second reprint was done as of 1982 by \"Le Hussard du Marais,\" a model soldier shop operating out of the Marais district in Paris. The purpose was to complement the first reprint. Due to the lack of success, this series was never completed.
I collect uniform printsand Napoleonic War prints and have for many years.

I will be selling a couple of hundred military prints over the next few weeks from all periods of uniforms from about the 17th Century to 20th century, so why not view my other listings and select me as a favorite seller.
