Up for sale is a wonderful 1920\'s Gruen Guild Women\'s Wristlet Art Deco Watch. A superb example in true tonneau form. A true Art Deco stunner that is 14kt white gold filled reinforced with extra gold. This is a Gruen Guild Wristlet Model. It has a beaded cabochon sapphirecrown. It is powered by their original higher powered Fifteen Jewel movement (adjusted to four positions) Gruen Guild Manual wind mechanism. The 100% original Florentine engraved Sterling Silver enameled finished dial is in good shape. Please note the finely engraved Florentine dial, the level of detail is fabulous! It features black Arabic numbers and original Blue Steel Breguet style hands.There are a few marks on the dial from being handled over the years.“In the Gruen Reinforced Gold case there is a double quantity of gold on the outside where the wear occurs., In other words, it is a solid gold case lined inside with a stout reinforcement of alloy metal making rigid case that resists bending.
