This is for a Victoriansilver needle case with a classic hobnail design on both sides with oval cartouche tothe top on both sides.It has the little continental silver markson the bezel and it is in excellent condition with no splits or dents and a nice tight fitting lid. There is the date 1848 inscribed in the cartouche on one side and the initials M.G on the otherIt measures 80mmlong.Pleasecheckoutall the other needle cases, thimble holders, sterling silver, sewing tools and other vintage ladies & gentlemans accessories we are selling on this week.
