This is a limited edition, very rare and highlycollectable Lalique crystal perfume bottle called Masque De Femme.
It is a very sophisticated flacon, which on two sides ofthe bottle it has sculpted into itsfaçade in high relief the famous\"Masque de Femme\", which means mask of a woman, an original motifcreated by René Lalique in 1935. This motif was and still is featured inLalique’s jewellery pieces, as well as crystal objects. It is a very refinedbottle, capped by a square cabochon. It is signed LaliqueFrance \'FAC 032\'The Factice was originally used for display purposes and does not containperfume.This makes it even rarer, as even fewer were made than those forsale that contained the original perfume. Factices are far more collectablebecause they are advertising products and were only made to be displayed in theboutiques and were not available for sale to the general public.Size:25 ml / 0.85fl.ozand it approximately measures 7.8cm (32/5\") Tall and 5.8cm (2 2/5\") at its widest.This sensational Crystal Limited Edition is a modern interpretation of theLalique spirit - timelessly elegant with exquisite attention to detail.
Please note:
I haverevised this listing and reduced the starting price from £150 to £99 because Ijust noticed some clouds / blemishes on the bottle. There is one very small oneon one side of the stopper. I photographed it but unfortunately it is difficultto capture as it is so small. Another area which is cloudy and slightly roughto the touch is on the right side under the mask and continues to the bottom ofthe bottle. I checked it with a magnifying glass and there does not appear tobe crystal missing. I don\'t know if it is something stuck on, such as glue orsomething else that can be removed or it is the way it has been manufactured orif it is a restoration. I don\'t want to touch it as I am not an expert and Idon’t want cause any damage. It might be possible to be filed by a glassexpert. Please have a good look at the photographs where they show the cloudy /rough areas.If you need more photos please let me know.It displaysvery well, as the rough areas can only be seen with close inspection.Youcan always put this side of the bottle to the back when you display it, asthere are two sides with the mask in high relief.
For the UK I will post it Next Day Special Delivery dueto its value, so it is fully insured. takes a commission on postage, too, hence the high cost for posting.
