This is an antique late 1800\'s china head doll. She measures a large 25 inches and is on what I believe an old replacement body. The head has no damage that I can tell. The cloth body has been sewn upon in many places (not repairs), as if it was built from the inside out. It might be the original body, and I cannot tell for sure. The hands are sewn cloth with fingers. There are three layers of undergarments here, all old. She has a turned head, and measures 6 3/4 inches from top of head to shoulder plate. I am including a faded red 2 piece red velvet outfit that was on her when I got her. It was sewn onto and I carefully removed for pictures. It would be easy to redress her for a complete doll. She has a nice look and would display well in an antique collection.
