HUGE VERY RARE 30\" OLD STEIFF BEAR WITH BUTTON IN EAR

Amadeus is a great Steiff bear in more ways than one. He is a rare large size of 75 cm (29-30” to the top of his ears) He has thick curly mohair fur, glass eyes. Large raised script Steiff button in ear with thin letters. He has the look of the earlier Steiff with his very long arms and muzzle and huge feet. With his wonderful thick quite curly mohair he really is like a big cuddly bear just absolutely stunning to see such a large Steiff whose body shape changed little from the the 1930\'s he is one of the elite of bears.

He is in superb old condition and dates from the late 1940\'s-early 1950\'s. Non working tilt growler. Felt pads are original and good for age with a few splits/repairs to the felt. He poses very well and is just full of presence and age character and charm. A very rare bear indeed so hard to find one in this size, a very special old fellow indeed
