Description:A very well preserved lignum vitae mortar with its pestle, early 18th century or earlier, based upon the style of the turning and the deep color. It is 7 1/4\" in diameter by 7 1/2\" tall, with no damage and great surface. The pestle, 10 1/4\" long, has two checks on one side. The last image was taken without flash to most clearly show the surface coloration.

Shipping charges are for shipping only. There is no handling fee. In most cases USPS will be chosen.
