A fine early vintageand genuine antique manuscript document with a good many autographs and the large red paper seal of Spain. Dated at Mexico City, 1696., in Spanish., the large amount of men who signed this document likely representatives from Spain, military commanders of Spain and Mexico, and officials of Mexico. [ As you can see, who can read them??]. Research shows the hand stamps are the official seals of King Carlos II of the House of Habsburg.

"Charles II (Spanish: Carlos II) (6 November 1661 – 1 November 1700) was the last Habsburg who reigned in Spain. He also ruled the Spanish Netherlands and Spain's overseas empire, stretching from the Americas to the Spanish East Indies. He is noted for his extensive physical, intellectual, and emotional disabilities—along with his consequent ineffectual rule. He was the last of the Habsburg rulers of Spain, and the other powers made various arrangements as they awaited his death. Peaceful solutions failed, and his death led to the War of the Spanish Succession."..Wickopedia

I have not a clue what this document concerns., clearly it is dated., and each page has the two large hand stamps showing the crest of King Carlos. The document is very nicely written in rich brown ink, on hand made laid paper. 15 written pages., last page blank. There are autographs at the bottom of a few of the pages as well. Certainly appears to be a very important document. Many ships loaded with gold and jewels, booty, etc sunk around the southern end of Florida during this time.
