Offered is a STERLING SILVER ASPARAGUS SERVER or TONGS made by GORHAM circa 1890-1900. Bears the OLD MARK, Lion, Anchor, G. The server features a pierced top, solid bottom piece. It is a very CLASSIC DESIGN, would compliment any setting. Monogrammed \"JWA\". It measures 8 1/2 inches long, 2 7/8 inches at the widest point of the bottom blade. It weighs a very substantial 190 grams, over 6 troy ounces. REALLY HEAVY! Hallmarked on the inside with the old Gorham trademark, see photo.
