Thiswas a pendant I purchased in Venice, Italy. It is made of a thick, clear glass with thecolors blown in the center of the piece.I have matched it with a natural fiber and ribbon cord and has a linkedlobster clasp so you can adjust the length to your preference.

Oneclue to as to whether or not a glass bead or pendant is truly from the island of Murano in the Venetian lagoon, is to seeif the color on the glass is painted on.It if it painted on the surface of the glass, it is NOT Murano/Venetianglass. The true Murano glass is madefrom a special method with special materials and the colors are blown into theglass.

Thenecklace is 20.5” (51.25 cm). Thependant is 2.5” x 1.75” (5 cm x 4.375 cm).

Thenecklace can be worn casually with jeans or as a statement piece but looksgreat against a cream or tan turtleneck sweater.
