LIKELY NORTHERN GERMAN
BRONZE FIGURE, part of a figural candelabra or possible chandelier. Usual unidentified subject. 19 cm height. circa., s.d, but as early as the latter half of the 14th century, but possibly 15th century. Likely stylistic origin: Northern Germany. Impressive and very rare surviving fragment or a candelabra or multi-tiered, chandeliers that were often preserve of the wealthiest private citizens. Likely drilled at top in 19th century for re-use in some decorative fashion. An important piece. May be returned for any reason.
