Stunning large covered tureen. Marked Haus Dresden. Measures 12 1/4 inches from handle to handle and stands 4 1/2 inches tall without cover and 7 1/4 inches tall with cover. Pattern is beautiful and timeless. 24KT gold trim and floral/scrollwork. Heavy gold on handles and finial.

This tureen is excellent condition--perhaps slight manufacturing imperfection on the underside of the lid (see last photos). I met the woman who owned the set of china at theestate sale. She told me the story of her husband being stationed in Germanyand having it all shipped home in large wooden crates in 1950. I think they meantso much to her that she barely ever them.
