Presented for sale ARE a fabulous German porcelain figurines of mounted soldiers, titled \"Le Prince Eugene\"and \"Bessieres\".These figure depicts Prince Eugene of Savoy (1663 – 1736) one of the most successful military commanders in modern European history and Jean-Baptiste Bessieres,(1768-1813).Prince Eugene of Savoyeventually held the highest office of the Hapsburg Imperial Court in Vienna even though he had been born in Paris to aristocratic Italian parents.

These figures arein excellent condition and would besuperb showpieces for a cabinet, shelf, or man\'s desk. Many factories produced groupings of soldiers in porcelain which are highly sought after by military collectors.The figures made by the German firm of Kister, Scheibe-Alsbach are of superb quality. Made from a good heavy weight hard-paste porcelain, they are expertly hand painted with finely detailed features.
