Easily the Nicest Antique Chandelier Listed on with

19thC Victorian era Electrified Gas style Brass Winged Dragon Mythological Chandelier

This is Easily one of the Most Impressive figural Chandeliers that we have ever had the Pleasure of Selling. This Chandelier was Original set up for Gas (dating it to the 1880\'s or so) and has been electrified some years ago with wiring that appears to be functional, but will need a ground wire to install in your house. This late 19thC Beauty looks to be constructed of mainly Brass with more figural elements than any other Chandelier that we have Previously Owned. There are 4 Large Winged and Horned Dragons, 1 making up each of the 4 Chandelier Arms. Next there are 4 Unique Ormolu type Busts of Cavaliers (or dragon slayers) found in between the figural Dragons. At the Center there are 3 Nicely Bronzed Cherubs or Puttis holding weapons with 4 Green Man style Busts just above them on the Collar and another 3 Winged Angel Busts on the Piece at the Very Top. The finish is Amazing & the Content is Beyond Impressive. This Victorian Beauty is Guaranteed to Impress and will Easily Command Attention in any Room, Just make sure the Room and Ceilings are Large Enough to Support this Monumental late 19th Century Work of Art.

Each of the Arms have a space for a Chimney (for when it was gas) and an outer Shade which has a base size of 4\" Across.
