This is a Nice looking, lightly aged mid 19thC Antique Victorian era Oil on Canvas Portrait Painting of a Nice looking Lady from the 1850\'s or so. This old Girl has a large group of slits in the canvas just above her head and to the left as well as a few other wear spots but overall a nice looking worn portrait. The period wood & gesso frame is as solid as can be with light age wear to the gesso and a few old cracks that appear to be holding firm. Overall a very decent looking 140 year old Portrait Painting mounted in a Period Gold Painted Frame. Estate Fresh & Begging for a New Life.

The painting displays well with a small repair visible on the back and what looks to be light in-painting. Overall displays well with crazing through out and a bit of a glossy finish from the age & restoration. Light wear to the edges of the wooden frame and minimal wear to the finish.
