Liberty Tudric Loving Cup By David Veasey:
An early Tudric Art Nouveau pewterloving cup orvase, it isfrom the Arts and Crafts period of the early 1900's& is recognizable as coming from the design portfolio of David Veasey. Veasey and other designers formed the design basis of the Tudric & Cymric ranges of Art Nouveau pewter & silver sold by Liberty & Co, London, UK.
Thevasehas been polished at some point in the past, but it was at least 25 years ago (the length of time I've owned it). The Veasey Tree of Life design and the motto "For Old Times Sake" are crisp and clear. There is no damage or repair.
It is stamped on the base English Pewter 010 dating it to circa 1902.
The cup measures 8" high and 7" across the handles.
