This sale if for a 56 gram Libyan Desert Glassspecimen. The translucent deep gemmy green color is very nice. Translucent when held to the sun, the first picture in the series speaks! It is filledwith white balls (cristobalite) and a sand inclusion on one narrow side and aflat. One patch has an array of dimples that are all roughly the same size. There are some dings on this piece, they showthe deep translucency inside and, for me, add to the depth and beauty of thespecimen. The cristobalite stands out clearly in this deep green translucentpiece. The texture varies from silky smooth to rough. The color is fabulous.
