DESIGN: An elegant and impressive vintage Atomic Modern twin adjustable spot light table lamp designed by Gerald Thurston for Lightolier Lighting circa late 1950\'s era. The shape of the molded shades were intended to resemble an Apollo rockets nose cone capsule, the lamp shades can rotate and tilt up and down for a variety of lighting positions as can their extension arms as well. The parts are manufactured of solid Brass, Phenolic plastic and metal, all very well machined and manufactured.CONDITION: This striking Space Jet Age Atomic lamp is in superb original condition, completely intact andfully functional. It exhibits jut faint signs of wear with no damage or repair evident. The original Brass arms are striking and free of any noticeable ding, dents or scratche. The original rare Brick Red color molded shades are free of any dings, chips or noticeable flaws aside from a few small flea bit size marks. The Sockets and power cords are all original and have been inspected and are clean, safe and functional.
