This lovely, limited edition, Limoges box is the left side from a famous painting by impressionist artist, Pierre-Auguste Monet, titled \"The Luncheon of the Boating Party.\" A lady, Aline Charigot, Renoir\'s future wife, is playing with a small dog, an affenpinscher. In front is a glass of white wine on the table. A double loop clip is the clasp, and \"d\'Apres Renoir - Le Dejeuner des Canotiers - 1881\" is inside. It is 1.4\" by 2.2\" with a depth of .5\". It comes with a 4\" tall, metal display easel. On the bottom of the box is: \"Peint Main - Limoges France - ?87?/500\" with a name or initials.
