This is anADORABLE, VINTAGE 1975, HAND PAINTED8 1/2\" CERAMIC FIGURE of a LITTLE GIRL dressed in an ORANGE, \"LITTLE REDRIDING HOOD\"-TYPE ofOutfit.Overall, the Figure is inGood Condition, No chips, cracks or crazing to the piece; thehand-painting to the piece is done very well, with good overall original coloring. The Bottom of the piece is Solid ORANGE,and the Girl\'s Outfit is a DARK ORANGE with significant areas of discoloration that you can see in the photos.The piece is dusty, mainly in the \"grooves\", and the \"discoloration\" may be attributedto long-term storage. The paint job is overall good with light natural \"streaks\" or \"pocks\" natural to the ceramic. You can see \"circles\" under the paint, mainly on the Little Girl\'s Hood. All one piece, this Little Girl is very cute wearing a long, Dark Orange Dress with Hood that is tied in a knot under her chin. Her Dark Brown Bangs have good coloring and show out of the front ofher hood. She has a Sweet Face with good coloring, nice Eyebrows, Lashes and Brown Eyes. She has a cute, little nose and a nice little smile. Her hands cradleachirping Yellow Bird. Hands and Bird alsohave good color and are a bit dusty.3 \"rings\" go around the bottom of the Little Girl\'sOutfit; the Front of her Outfit has 5 White Flowers with Green Stems and Leaves. The Little Girl\'s Hood is Decorated with 5 of the same styled Flowers. She looks like she could be a piece of Garden Décor! The Bottom of this Ceramic Piece has a hole, the piece is hollow. The Figurestands 8 1/2\" high, 4\" across at the bottom and 12\" around the bottom. The Little Girl is 3\" across at the Face and her head is 9 1/2\" around. The Yellow Bird is 1\", and the Flowers range from 1\"to nearly 3\" high. The Flowers also have Good Colorand are a bit dusty. The bottom of the piece is a nice, solid Orange and does show dirt. The hole is 1 1/2\" across and 5\" around; the piece is CLEAN INSIDE. The piece is signed in ink, JODY 75. Adorableand Unique Ceramic Figure that would make a lovely piece of Décor in or outside your home.If anything, she needs a bit of a dusting.
