Condition of Basket: Mint.This basket has held yarnsince I purchased it. I can tell you that I have never used it as a picnic basket. I did purchase this item \'used\' and can not quarentee that it has never been used as a picnic basket. Please take a careful look at the photo of the corner of the lid. When the lid is held at a certain angle and the light is \'just right\', you can see that there are extremely minor indentations in the corner of the lid. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A LONGERBERGER LID, BUT COMES FROM BASKET ACCESSORIES IN AKRON PA. This is a wonderful basket and can be used for sooooooo very much more than a picnic basket... sewing basket, yarn basket, craft supply basket. Use it in the bathroom to hold rolled towels, the possibilities just go on and on.
