Originally issued in 1967 and 1968, respectively; their first and 2nd albums. This edition includes 8 bonus tracks taken from non-album singles from the same time period and a 4-panel foldopen informative/photo insert. DESCRIPTION: Never before on CD, the first two albums by garage and psychedelic legends from Argentina (from 1967 and 1968, repspectively), plus eight non-LP singles as bonus tracks. Los Walkers were the Argentine response to Los Shakers and Los Mockers (who were from Uruguay, but recorded in Argentina). The first LP is like a sort of garage classic compilation and included only three tracks written by the band themselves. What you’ll find here are covers of Them, Small Faces, Lemon Pipers, Doors, Kinks, Stones—all of them very special and peculiar versions. Their second album is more psychedelic pop, still with some of the garage edge of their debut. Both albums are very well arranged and performed giving these recordings (that I’m sure in live performance whipped up their audiences in a frenzy) a unique spin on some, what are now considered to be, garage and pop standards. Keep in mind, many of these songs were not readily available to the Argentinean record buyer so to many in Argentina this was the first version they came to know. The booklet includes extensive lines and photos. All in all a great value—thirty-two songs packed into seventy-seven minutes!!

Unless noted, all CDs come in standard jewel cases.

SS or SLD: Still Sealed or Sealed. Short abbreviation that will appear in the title line of my listings. This item is new and unplayed. Also appears in the listing description as Sealed CD or Factory Sealed CD.

NEW CD: This item is new and unplayed, but was received from a supplier without being shrink wrapped or cellophane wrapped; more common on imports but also many of the smaller independent US labels do not seal their CDs; some have it both ways (for which I have no prior knowledge of or choice when placing my orders). Other companies use resealable clear outer sleeves which are used on some import and domestic releases. If I receive an item this way it will be shipped as I received it and not opened up. Items received unwrapped are placed inside of a resealable clear outer mylar sleeve at the time they are received.

All CDs that do not come in an outer packaging wrap are inspected by me prior to shipping. It is not unusual to find small imperfections in the disc, especially on European manufactured CDs; these small imperfections do no affect the play of the disc. If, for any reason, a disc does not play it is fully guaranteed by me and is returnable for refund or replacement (see my return policy below for more details). Also an unsealed jewel case may show light signs of warehouse/transit storage wear. If a jewel case is received by me broken, it will be replaced with a new jewel case before shipping; sealed CDs received with cracked/damaged jewel cases will be noted as such in the above item’s description and will be opened up and replaced at the buyers request at the time of purchase (otherwise they will be shipped as is).

2/1: This denotes that 2 albums are on 1 single CD.

OOP: Out Of Print.

MIX: This sometimes appears in my title line and refers to a group\'s/artist\'s music having a mix of styles such a rock track with jazz then followed by a straight rock track followed by a psych rock track, etc., as opposed to a blues album with the album\'s tracks having predominantly one style.

RETURN POLICY:

NON-ARRIVAL OF PACKAGES:

It has been several years since I’ve had a package not make its US destination, so risk is minimal.

I do my best to quickly post packages, but once the package is in the hands of the world’s postal systems it is beyond my control. With First-Class Package International Service my only option for investigating the loss of your package is to verify that it left this country to its destination country. Most all delayed/lost packages have disappeared/been delayed after they have reached their destination country. NOTE: Based on recent buyer response, International packages have been moving much slower these days; it is not unusual for a package to take over three weeks for delivery, though normally packages should arrive in 7 to 15 business days.
