LOT #01 Nice Group of 30 Antique Vintage MARBLES frm Estate Sale OLD 1890-1960’s LOT #01 Nice Group of 30 Antique Vintage MARBLES frm Estate Sale OLD 1890-1960’s
Nice Group of Vintage / Antique Marbles from an Estate Sale!  SEE 12 HD Pictures!  with LOW starting offer!  Quarter and Ruler Not Included. This is Lot #1 of the 18 Lots of Vintage Marbles that I have up for offer right now.  All the marbles I have for sale right now came from an estate sale where I bought several other toy related items ranging from the late 1800\'s & Early 1900\'s up through the 1960\'s.  I know very little about marbles, but from what I can tell, most of the marble lots I have up for sale contain some pretty old vintage marbles; no idea how old exactly, but I would guess 1960\'s or older based on the other items at the estate sale.  Most, if not all the lots of marbles I have for sale, contain machine made marbles, though many of the lots contain some marbles that appear to be more likely to be hand-made or made in some other way because of apparent irregularities.  Keep your eye out for these.  I didn\'t have the knowledge or patience to sift through hundreds of web pages and pictures to identify types and brands of marbles for these sales, even if that were at all possible, so I just thought I would put some AWESOME pictures on all of the sale lots and hope the marble collectors could figure it out.  Though I saw quite a few of them that looked like some of the Akro Agates that I have seen on and some of the German made marbles I saw also.  After I took all of the pictures I do remember seeing a few marbles that were popeye marbles, but I only learned what a popeye marble was after the fact.  I had thought other sales were talking about some kind of cartoon character marble until I did a little research on Youtube.  Now I can\'t remember which lots, the popeye marbles were in, but I think there were a few.  You may have to hunt for them.  It\'s probably worth the hunt because there are a lot of cool ones scattered throughout the 18 lots.  Many other toys at the estate sale these came from were in fact German, so it might be possible that some of the marbles in various lots could be of German origin.  Probably some from Japan too.  Good luck hunting.  The whole collection was originally stored in an attic inside antique Ball canning jars. Each individual lot contains 30 or less marbles, in order to make it possible for me to get good images of every marble.  Most lots show two overhead shots, one straight down and one at a slight angle with the marbles next to a piece of yardstick and surrounding a US Quarter to help show the relative size of the marbles.  Also for most lots, I have included two pictures each of the marbles in groups of six with the first picture showing one side of the marbles and the second showing another side of them.  Please take a good look at all of the pictures before you offer.  With these pictures being of very high (HD) quality, you should be able to use the MAGNIFIER feature to see all of the details you might want to know.  If you need to know more or need more pictures, contact me through messaging and I will do my best as a non-expert marble collector can, to answer questions or provide the additional pictures you might need.  Please take it easy on me and don\'t use too many slang terms that only a marble collector would know.  I noticed many terms like \"egg-yolk\" for marbles that I just see as the yellow and white one.  Please forgive my ignorance, but also be thankful for it because its not exactly like I sorted out the \"good ones\" for myself.  I don\'t know what the \"good ones\" are.  The only ones I sorted out were marbles with obvious damage or broken parts.  Hopefully there are some great treasures among these marbles and someone gets a great deal!  Thanks for reading and looking! GOOD LUCK and HAPPY offerDING!Video Overview of ALL 18 Marble lots below:
