After more than four decades of collecting Western European and Latin-American ceramics, fine art, jewelry and antiques, I am retiring from the practice of medicine and moving to smaller quarters. Consequently and to my consternation, I must find new homes for my cherished treasures. LLADRO "DAYS OF WEEK BOY AND DOG"

This collection consists of seven charming Spanish handmade sculptures created by Lladro’s celebrated ceramicist Juan Huerta. Each sculpture portrays a young boy engaged in a particular activity for which he is wearing an appropriate outfit, while accompanied by or interacting with his dog.

The seven sculptures were issued by Lladro individually, as well as, in a set of seven in 1992. They were retired in 1997.

This collection has been completely SOLD OUT for many years. Whereas the individual pieces come up on often, it is very difficult to find and buy a complete set of seven, especially at the moderate price offered here and with FREE SHIPPING.

Each of the seven sculptures is in excellent, MINT, LIKE NEW used condition. Since I bought the sculptures, they have always been kept in a closed glass display case free of dust, sunlight or debris. None of them has any breaks, cracks, chips, crazing, stains, or repairs. “Tuesday’s Boy” was dedicated, signed and dated in black ink on the bottom of the base. Notably, unlike any other Lladro sculptures to my knowledge, on each of the bases the title of the piece is engraved in English and in Spanish.

None of the original LLADRO shipping boxes is available.

These sculptures were bought individually on from separate sellers and from different saleeers several years ago.

The sculptures will be shipped only to addresses confirmed by and PayPal anywhere in the continental USA via USPS Priority Services.

The item will be shipped within 48 work-day-hours of receiving clearance of payment from PayPal.

Due to the size and fragility of the item, the item will be not be shipped to PO Boxes, Alaska or Hawaii, nor to any foreign country unless the prospective buyer contacts me in advance to discuss the matter.
