On Offer is this lot of THREE SIGNED Antique/Victorian Gold Filled Bangle Bracelets...........exact age unknown, but estimated to be Circa 1900. They are all structurally Excellent and are all in Very Good Wearable condition but are being sold as a lot because they have some age appropriate wear. They ALL have secure locking box clasps that function perfectly, snap securely closed, and can\'t be tugged open.

I will briefly describe them in order of appearance in the second photo from left to right.

The first one is a subtle Rose Gold and has a BLANK Cartouche in the centre, surrounded by a Floral and Foliage design done in \"Repousse\" Embossing. It has slanted edges and the back is plain and monogram free. It was crafted by the Finberg Manufacturing Company. The outer surface tested positive for 10 ct. Gold and Composition is High Grade Gold Filled. It weighs 29.3 Grams, is 1.6 cm wide, with an inside circumference of 18.3 cm (7 1/4\") so it will fit a medium wrist. There are no dents or evidence of any old repairs - just light wear to the edges as pictured.

The second and widest and is an untested bright Yellow with an Embossed Floral design and fine engine turning. It has slanted sides and is monogram free. It was crafted by Ripley & Gowen. It weighs 41.6 Grams, is 2.3 cm wide, with an inside circumference of 18.4 cm (7 1/4\") so it will fit a medium wrist. There are no dents, damage, or evidence of any old repairs. The finish is so bright and shiny that I believe it may have been re-surfaced or restored.

The third one is subtle Rose Gold with deep \"Repousse\" Embossing on the front. The back is monogrammed with what looks like \"HPJ\", but the letters are so ornate I can\'t be sure. It was crafted by Totten & Sommer Company. The outer surface tested positive for 10 ct. Gold and Composition is High Grade Gold Filled. It weighs 34.7 Grams, is 1.6 cm wide, with an inside circumference of 18.7 cm (7 3/8\") so it will fit a medium wrist. Apart from one tiny pin head nibble on the back there are no dents or evidence of any old repairs - just light general wear and surface scratching as pictured.

All statements in my descriptions are based on research and my opinion as a collector. Most items I sell are either Gold Filled or Gold Shell. Gold Filled jewellery is constructed from a thick layer of Solid Carat Gold wrapped around a base metal. The base metal may vary and is not always identified. The Gold is mechanically bonded to the base metal using high heat or pressure, and will be as well made as solid gold pieces.

Vintage and Antique Gold Filled jewellery that was made many years ago will always stand out as Fine Jewellery, not only because of the high gold content, but also because of the high quality and superior craftsmanship. It will maintain its lustre and appearance the same as solid gold jewellery. It will not flake, peel, fade or tarnish, and can be treasured as an heirloom piece. Gold Filled jewellery should not be confused with Gold Plated jewellery. Gold plated metal is produced by placing the metal into a special solution that contains gold, then electrically charged for an instant. This very thin layer can be worn off by rubbing or through body oils. In contrast, the gold filled jewellery is about 100 times thicker than a plated surface. Any Solid Gold jewellery listed will be either fully hallmarked or verified by a jeweller and clearly described as such.

Because all my items are taken in natural light using a macro setting, every detail that would normally not be visible to the naked eye is picked up by the camera lens and appears magnified. In most cases the item will look even better in person than the photos suggest. While my photos are a very important component of the item description, I encourage you to read the Condition report in every listing as I will try my best to mention any flaws. While all weights and measurements provided are as accurate as possible they are approximate.

All of my items are either Vintage or Antique. They may exhibit slight imperfections due to age or wear, which is part of their charm. Please take this into consideration.
