French*Antique*Manoir is acharming antique french brocante and antiques from 18th century untill the Art Déco period which come essentially from the Loire Valley, known for its history, wine, family property, manoir and castles.

This is alovelyantique Frenchcarved meerschaumdated from the late 1800\'s. This Beautiful Frenchmeerschaum figureof the Virgin Maryis particularly skilful and the meerschaum stone is highly detailed. it depicts serene Virgin Mary standing on wall consoleholdinga rosary in her arms. The Virgin Mary is wearing a flawless robe finely detailed, a woman is standing next to her and looking at her as praying. It\'s mounted within a brass frame. TheFrench carved meerschaumis protected behind thick convex glass in perfect condition. all is strong and tight, note a small crack in the back of themeerschaum stone, this doesn\'t makes it fragile.The frame is gently timewornbut stillin good antique condition, unbelievable work of sculpture and full of character.
