The larger size indicates that it would accommodate two eggs, rather than a single one. The cup is done in a dark pink or red, with lovely scenes that include a castle or stately building, figures of a man, woman, and child, with a dog, trees, etc. The base of the cup and the interior rim are decorated with intricately woven leaves and flowers. The cup is stamped Mason\'s Vista, England, with a crown logo and the letter \'U\'. The cup is in very good condition for the age, although there is one small hairline, so slight it really looks as though it is just more of the crackle finish of the piece. It does not go through to the other side. The ginormous photos we are now required to use make it look massive, but it really isn\'t. There is also a spot on the bottom that initially looked like a chip, but it is under the glaze, so must be a manufacture flaw. This beautiful egg cup measures just under 4\" tall and was purchased from a local dealer who no longer has an open shop.
