A lovelyArt Deco Era English solid silver Sauce Boat, with a decorative cut card rim and \"C\" shaped handle, raised on three plain paw feet.It dates from 1938, and was made by the world famous Emile Viner Company, and wasassayed in Sheffield.
It measures just over 5.5\"/14cm widehandle to spout,and is 3.35\"/8.5cm across, and stands 6cm high.It weighs a respectable 107g/3.77oz/3.44 troy oz.
It is in good condition for the age, with clear hallmarks, and no spilts or repairs, or serious dints or scratches.It does though show a noticeable small light dint to one side of the base,and some light scratches to theinside of the bowl from use and cleaning. These minor flaws are reflected in the price.
Overall, it\'s a delightful Vintage silver Sauce Boat which shows onlyminimal signs of its age and use, and it is still perfect for everyday use at the table.
It is offered in clean polished condition, and ready to give as a gift, perhaps for a Wedding, or Anniversary, that\'s if you don\'t want to keep it for yourself!
