LOVELY GEORGIAN SILVER PATCH POT PILL BOX SAMUEL PEMBERTON 1802 MINIATURE BOX:

This is for avery sweet little silver patch pot from 1802. The box was made in Birmingham i think by Samuel Pemberton and it has a full set of hallmarks inside. The box is nicely shaped, both the lid and the base protrude out with faceted shoulders and it has been nicely decorated round these shoulders with a delicate brightcut pattern. The top of the box shows a little cartouche and the base a nice chequerboard pattern. Inside the box it carries a full set of English sterling silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1802 along with a makers mark, its feint, i think its for Pemberton but cant be sure. It is in excellent condition with no damage to it anywhere and it opens and closes properly securing firmly on the bezel. It measures 28mm x 18mmand stands 13mm tall.
