Offered for your consideration this lovely large antique French Victorian signed framed oval marble sculpturecirca 1820. Rosewood frame with marble sculpture. White oval marble bust of a obviously wealthy matronly Victorianfemale. Signed Minot at bottom of bust, please see photo closeup of #3 picture. Pristine condition of thefront side of the bust and frame. Small wood frame joint separations at left upper and right lower, please see pics 4 and 5.Bottom of the frame has age wear from what looks like it being positioned on that end most of its life. Please seephoto closeup of pic 3. Back side of the frame is intact with old square head nails holding the plaque in place.Please see pics 7 and 8. VERY HEAVY AND WELL MADE! This would need to be freight shipped and a specialbox built for it at owners expense. There is a small hanger top back but I wouldn\'t trust it. Bolt in wall studwould be more suitable alternative and possibly a hanger shelf for it to sit on (also bolted to wall stud).Dimensions: 29\"H X 22 1/2\"W X 3\"D, back oval surface measures 22\"H X 18\"W.
