Description AbeautifulrareEnglish antiquesolid sterling silver & blue enamelled stamp case by the silversmiths Crisford & Norrisand with a full set of English silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1915.Excellentquality genuine 103 year old silver example, in lovely condition,has an uncommon hinged slide-out opening action andhasa fully gilded interior.Decorated on the front with diamond-cut engraving and has an attractive cobalt blue enamelled \"stamps\" motif in the centre. There are no added engraved personal inscriptions or monograms and it comes complete with its silver attachment/bale ring and also a genuine antique King George V half penny stamp.

MeasurementsMeasures approx.1.15 inches (29mm)x 1 inches (24mm) and is0.25 inches (6mm) deep.

Date English antique solid sterling silver with a full set of English silver hallmarks forBirmingham 1915(date letter \"q\"). Excellent clear struck marks on outer case and inner slide out stamp case.

Maker Silversmith initials \"C & N\" (Crisford & Norris).

ConditionLovely condition,with nosplits or cracks to the silver, no solder repairs, definitely no wear/pin holes and no nasty knocks or dents, just a couple of very minor little pin-head bruises, really nothing.The interior gilding is all original and the beautiful blue enamelling is virtually 100% intact, very teeny losses. The hinge works perfectly and the inner frame slides in and out fine. Complete with silver attachment ring and with no added engraved inscriptions or monograms.
