This is a very nice old small steel and brass padlock and key.The front of the lock is marked YALE JUNIOR and the back is marked MADE BY THE YALE & TOWNE MFG CO IN ENGLAND.The lock has its original key marked YALE & TOWNE - YALE JUNIOR - MADE IN ENGLAND and it is in working order.The lock probably dates to the first half of the 1900s and is in pretty decent condition with some wear commensurate with age and use.This lovely old small steel brass padlock and key would grace any collection or sit very well in any period or contemporary setting.Thanks for viewing and please take a look in my shop for many more interesting old items.
