Mint julep cup in the moderism design of Alphonse La Paglia (1907-1953) who studied under Georg Jensen in Denmark. This tall tumbler / mint julep beaker stands a full 5\" high (about 13cm), and is in excellent condition, with no dings or dents. Higher grade of silver than sterling at 950/1000, perhaps made in Japan where \"Sterling 950\" has been the standard. Holds about 10oz. Weight is 4.1oz. NO monogram. Several reputable silver antique dealers on have informed me that this a La Paglia original, but no maker\'s mark found. This tall tumbler / mint julep cup beautifully represents classic modernism design with its cascading lillies!
