Many of the lovely Engravings havebeen protected by tissue guards, for the most part, some bleed through on tothe facing print, there is also evidence of foxing throughout the book, some pagesare completely clean, while the next may be spotted, none of a severenature. Text is bright, andillustrations are good.

Covers are in fair-poor condition,leather has been worn or chipped off on spine and cotners, marbled boards areworn down from rubbing, The binding is good.
