This is a authentic gold incrusted (inlayed) box from France that measures 2\" x 1.75\" x 1\" high. It was produced by LaGloriette, a well known maker of good quality hinged Limoges porcelain boxes. The clasp snaps closed securely with a strong hinge and fittings well aligned and there\'s a little painting inside in the tradition of French snuff boxes, of which these more modern trinket boxes are fashioned. There are no flaws (ignore camera glare) and AUTHENTIC LaGloriette hallmarks can be found on the bottom.
