I am addressing the lowered ranking on my home page: I had100% ranking for years on until a buyer purchased a body building nutritional package from me severals monthsago. I stated clearlyin the description the expiration date which always means best when used by a certain date. This was a sealed container of powder supplement in perfectly good useable condition.He received the package, opened it, and used it and then wanted me to take it back which would be unsaleable. I would not take it back for he opened itbreaking the factory sealand I consequently received the lowered score since I do not sell hundreds of items. That is the only negativeresponse I have ever received and I asked to correct the response score and they refused.

Tall Aladdin Simplicity Lamp Model B-57

Circa: 1948-1953

This is the Aladdin Simplicity Gold Lustre model #57 with an model 9 Nu-Type brass finish burner kerosene lamp and includes with sale an exceptional nice ornate shade spider in a brass floral finish design along with a wonderful flawless shade. The shade is an opal white 7\" fitter, hand blown American-made early style glass ribbed panel shade which is 6 1/4\" tall, 10” outside diameter in flawless shape.

The lamp is in overall nice condition with no breaks or chips. The light gold luster paint which varies from lamp to lamp has the typical mottled thinning effect from years of use. The paint is consistent in wear around the entire lamp but is void from excessive missing paint in any one location. If you so choose this lamp is totally functional and would display light equal to a 60 watt incandescent frosted type bulbs using only kerosene. The lamp will also include a new Loxon burner mantle, wick spreader, Loxon chimney, and wick ready to install.

The combination of the wonderful shade, ornate shade holder, and condition of the lamp makes this a wonderful piece from the past. You can add scented oil to the lamp and do away with expensive candles and at the same time add some old world charm to your home.
