This is a very unique, handmade tin cross from Mexico. A talented hojalatero (tin smith) from Mexico made it.A lot of time goes into making these punched tin and soldered glass panel scene crosses. This onehas a lovely Spanish colonial shape, studded punch work all around and a ray effect around the middle. It has vivid and bright day of the dead images behind glass panels in the center. It has a 3D effect as well, as the cross is raised on a box that stands out from the wall. It measures 11 3/4\" tall by 10 1/2\" wide by 1\" deep.
