Large 1800\'s Antique Burl Wood Hammer Mallet Primitive Country Farm Tool Patina. Good Condition. Burl wood hammer has insect holes and a large line on the bottom where the wood has been eaten away. The bottom is very dark and the sides are worn. All of the conditions are appropriate with age and type of tool. Handle is firmly connected to the hammer. Please zoom in on all the pictures they are part of the description. This large wood hammer mallet is becoming harder and harder to find. This one would make a very good display piece in a country kitchen or a counrty styl fireplace. It measures 10 3/4\" tall and 6\" wide. It weights over 4 lbs. After 60 years of collecting my husband and I are selling some of our favorite things. We are planning on moving out of our two story home to a more convenient one story home.
