Large 19thC Chinese Rose Mandarin Vase w/ Figural Animals:

This large Chinese vase is decorated with large scenes of characters and birds on a gold gilt background with butterflies. The neck is decorated with tow large character scenes and figural lizards and foo dogs. It dates from the 19th Century and measures approximately 24 inches tall, 8 inches across the mouth, and 7 + 7/8 inches across the foot rim. It is in excellent condition with the exception of some glaze rubs / flecks, some wear on the gilt and enamel, and a splash of paint on the side, as can be seen in the photos.
