Large authentic German paper mache vintage style Easter egg made by Nestler. These quality eggs are imported from Ezgebirge Germany, where they have been produced since the 1800s.
This egg is approximately 6\" tall. Our eggs are shrink-wrapped in plastic and so the pictures often have glare marks from the camera, but the eggs are perfect. The large 6\" size is great to use as packaging for small gifts, jewelry, toys, candy, hostess gifts such as hand creams and lotions or soaps, etc. Place them in an Easter basket or place at each guest\'s table setting, in keeping with true German custom. What wonderful favors these would make for your Easter party or event!
The vintage style design of these eggs are taken from 19th century postcards. This egg depicts a rabbit cooking an Easter morning pancake breakfast for his chick and chicken. The inside of the egg is lined in an Easter print and stamped \"Made in Germany\" or \"Echt Erzgebirge\".
