This is a wonderful and large American Pewter Porringer, circa first half 19th century. The bowl portion of the porringer measures approximately 6\" in diameter (not including handle). It is in beautiful estate condition with age appropriate wear and subtle dents. It does not show traces of a touchmark. The handle shows some fine line splits, as shown in the photos. The underside shows appropriate spun marks and an etched name of \"WILLIAMS\". This comes from an old collecting of early americana that we have been listing.
