Large Antique Baroque Wooden Angel Putti Winged Cherub Religious Santos, 19th Century.
A wood carved and polychromed angel head winged Putti. It is skillfully hand carved of solid wood in the mid to late 1800\'s. In good antique condition with losses to polychrome in some areas. There is old crack in the wood on the back, which is also visible on the bottom on front. It is stable and does not impact integrity of the item, nor detracts from its beauty. The back is signed at various dates in the last Century, seemingly before the crack developed. Please view all photos for more details on the workmanship and unique beauty of this item.
Size: This is larger than usual cherub - 18 cm tall by 17 cm wide (7\" x 6.5\").
