This is a larger Red and Gold colored Cloisonne vase from China. It was made between 1890 and 1940. The pictures do not come close to showing the beauty of this vase. It looks as if it glows. The golden colored wire makes an intricate and amazing pattern all over the entire surface of this beauty. The small perfectly places wires create elaborate and exquisiteswirl patterns which are surrounding the very beautiful and very classic pattern known as the lotus pattern. It stands 9 inches tall and it is 4 1/2 inches across. There are not any chips or dents. It is bronze and has bare metal with a slight patina showing on the flat bottom surfaceand the rounded graceful neck. Its metal gold colored wires and its deep red enamelare very shiny seem to glow. It is solid metal on the bottom and on the inside of the neck and the band which is the lip and around the bottom foot..
