Antique Eastern European Abacus

Up for sale is this large and rare antique Eastern European abacus. Frame is hand-crafted of hardwood with dove-tailed corners. Wooden beads. Purchased in Eastern Europe in the mid-60s. A fine historic collectible and conversation piece. It could also make a great decoration for your wall.

Size: Frame measures 18\" x 11\" x 2\".

Condition: Very good condition for its age. Some wear visible throughout, as expected. Nice patina on the wood. Remnants of old label inside the frame. Some tarnishing on the metal rods, which can probably be removed with metal polisher. Quite heavy, weights close to 4 pounds.
