Large Antique Hand Hammered Copper Ewer With Silver Tin Wash & Intricate Designs:

Offering this large antique hand hammered copper ewer or pitcher with a silver tin wash overlay. It has very highly detailed repousse designs encircling the entire surface as shown. The handle was hand applied with hand made rivets affixed at the top as shown and the bottom of the handle is not attached. The bottom base was applied separately and has finely crafted dovetail joints all securely in place. This is a one of a kind original. There isa couple ofshallow dents on the side rim as shown and otherwise it has no other damage or repairs. It is very old and has been well used and some of the silver wash overlay has worn away with time and use. It measures 14 1/4 inches tall. The top is 5 by 6 inches wide, the base is 4 3/4 inches wide and it is approx. 7 inches wide at the widest. This is a very beautiful and rare piece. Thanks for looking.
