This is a large 40\" wide x 102\" tall stained glass window with a sun ray hinged top piece that opens out to let air in. Could use this piece by itself.

Thereare 2 panes that are cracked as shown in pictures and the glass has settled toward bottom were inscription isalso tried to show in picture so piece needs some attention, but very worthy of it as it very beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice and it is very heavy and so very difficult to move around to take a better picture, although I did move it quite easily to my location.The frame/molding surrounding piece is very solid and measures 1 7/8\"thick x 2 1/8\" wide.

Piece as is quite dirty so doesn\'t show as well as it could in pictures.

Offering this as pickup my location 13069only, as it would be quite difficult to ship via commercial carrier. May consider bringing piece to customer for added price pending buyers location.

Here is small piece from History of Lysander NY that can be easily befound on the web, that speaks to church this window was removed from. It is now a residence in that village, but stii very much resembles the original church.. Notice the name of Rev John L Franklin who the window is dedicated to.

The Presbyterians built a church for their use in 1833 and prospered many years, its membership at one time reaching about 300. But in course of time this society also became very much weakened and in 1877 under an order of the court the two organizations were united under the name of \"The Congregational Church and Society of Lysander.\" This society is still in existence. The first pastor was Rev. Henry T. Sell; his successors have been Revs. John L. Franklin, Charles H. Curtis, Charles E. Hoyt and John L. Keedy, who is the present pastor.
